The Robert Sorby Turnmaster chisels have proven to be very popular world wide, these replacement cutters have a titanium nitride coating to them, giving them almost the hardness of tungsten carbide while still keeping the ability to be sharpened using a diamond file or honing stone. Regular sharpening is recommended to maintain a sharp edge on the cutters.
